Today is the four month anniversary of the accident. Hard to believe. I think I have said that each month. What is even harder to believe is the wonderful progress Mark has made in that time. We thank each and every one of you for the continued support and prayers. As I have said and will continue to say we thank you all.

On another note, to our friends and family in Cleveland, it was cool here today. Mark actually had on a jacket and a quilt (thank you Aunt Rosalie) over his shorts (yes shorts). It even got a little too windy to sit outside so we parked ourselves in front of the big screen TV in the Fisher House family room and watched a goofy Stallone movie. Not nearly what all of you were going through, but tough never the less. When we talked to Jess today she said the Cleveland storm even made the news in Sydney. She also admitted she was glad she was coming to Florida instead. Rich had to stay another day since his flight was cancelled. It was a hardship, but he will endure. Hopefully, (or not) he will get home tomorrow.

It was fun to sympathize with Peter when he called, but we did have few laughs about it anyway!

Happy shoveling!!!

Hi Mark and Ann.
I am really envious of your warm weather. It is cold and the snow keeps coming. We have run the snow blower about 6 times to keep up with the blowing and drifting. Everything is cancelled and we are hugging the fireplace and making cookies.
I am so pleased to hear the PT is working and you are standing for longer periods of time. That is wonderful! You will be walking into my classroom before you know it...but wait for better weather, ok? Best wishes! me

Hi Ann, Mark (& Rich?)

So very happy to keep hearing or your progress Mark and looking forward to your being back home. It is now just after 9:00pm on Saturday and the snow keeps coming and for the first time in my memory, church services tomorrow have been cancelled! Our Stepping Stones get together was also obviously called off tonight and will probably have it next Friday. Look forward to seeing Rich.

All of you continue to be in our prayers.

Hello Ann, Rich and Mark,

It warms my heart to read how things are improving on a daily basis. You've been through so much in these 4 months, but certainly there are so many blessings to count too.

We've missed you at Jazzercise Ann! I see Debbie often and ask about you.

When you are back in Cleveland again I'll be happy to teach you how to do EFT (emotional freedom techniques) which is something that may be helpful for further rapid recovery. Some of my colleagues are working to get this integrated into the VA system. In the meantime I have been using this with my coaching clients for about 3 years now and it is nothing short of awesome. You can see a short video at www.emofree.com

I'll be watching your posts and will continue to send love and prayers. Archangel Michael is my favorite of the angels and such good company.

much love,

Betsy Muller

Hello, my name is Faith Shears and I work with Alison Osteen (Cambpell) at Trinity Oaks. She has shared your story, along with this blog, with her team of teachers here at the school and it is truly inspiring! I can't begin to say how greatful I am for your courage and will continue to keep you in my prayers during your recovery. May God continue to bless you during this difficult time in your life.
With much gratitude, Faith Shears

Hi, Mark and Ann!

It's Kate, Anthony, and Greg Gigliotti's mom writing from the left coast . . . sunny and warm California. No shoveling here . . . well, at least not snow. Mark, we're so happy for your amazing progress. I'm waiting to hear those pipes again. Our prayers and thoughts are constantly with you both.
