Well folks, the fifteen minutes continues. Below is another link, to yet another story about the visit from Mike Ditka and Rocky Bleier to the boys in Mark's unit. Again, it is very touching. As I mentioned when Mike Ditka first visited the unit two months ago, he was very moved and has now aligned his organization, Gridiron Greats, with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
The story in the link below appeared in the Arizona Republic.

How cool!! And Bart Starr! What exciting days they must have been!! Since we're still waiting for that first Browns Championship ring, I guess it's OK to wear Steelers' rings!
Hi Mark.
How nice of "Iron Mike" to come visit again!
Those pesky Steelers got another ring. I hear they are referring to Pittsburgh as "Sixburgh".....geez, that is hard to take! You have to admit that it was a great game to watch!
Hope all is well with you and the PT sessions are going well. You may have heard that the weather here is outrageous, but at long last finally moderating! We have actually had two days of sunshine...!
Keep working on the walking...you still have to walk into the classroom for me. I have the angel inside on a shelf in my new Grandfather's clock! Every time I walk past it and see it shining on the shelf under the light and it reminds me that you are working each day...using "time" wisely to fight back to independence and a stronger body. Stay with it Mark! Always thinking about you! Pustinator
