Its the day after Thanksgiving and all through the house the people aren't stirring and fortunately, we have no mouse. Mark and Rich are sitting watching TV and I'm writing this as you can see. Well, that's it for the rhyme! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope all of you did too. We enjoyed dinner with my family and ate well and laughed more. The perfect recipe for any family get together. And, by the way, Mark's pies were great! I was very impressed with all he did to make them. He wound up standing for over an hour with just a short 10 minute break which was a new personal best. Way to go!

Today we slept in, hung around and went to a movie this afternoon and then out to eat. No shopping for us! We saw "The Blind Side" and it was wonderful. Best movie I've seen in years. It really could have been sappy, but it wasn't and Sandra Bullock was wonderful. I would highly recommend it for all ages. It was thoroughly enjoyable.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend as much as we are. Here's to a wonderful holiday season ahead.

I am a cousin of Cpt. Christian Skoglund ... he is truly missed and he would complain if he didn't get my apple pie for thanksgiving! Maybe his grama could teach him now!
